{"id":369,"date":"2016-05-26T18:32:23","date_gmt":"2016-05-26T17:32:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.andrewleestrust.org\/blog\/?p=369"},"modified":"2016-05-26T18:43:03","modified_gmt":"2016-05-26T17:43:03","slug":"brussels-book-launch-may-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.andrewleestrust.org\/blog\/?p=369","title":{"rendered":"Brussels Book Launch &#8211; May 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Also on\u00a0Monday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May, the \u00a0ALT Director, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orengo.co.uk\"><strong>Yvonne Orengo,<\/strong><\/a> participated in the launch of the FoE book \u201cWhy Women Will Save The Planet\u201d at the offices of Friends of the Earth Europe (FoEE), co-hosted by the European Women\u2019s Lobby (EWL).<\/p>\n<p>The book was published in November last year as part of a Friends of the Earth project called \u2018Big Ideas Change the World\u2019. This project is exploring some of the key issues that can help to transform our society and make faster progress towards the goals of environmental sustainability and well-being for everyone. Is women\u2019s empowerment critical to environment sustainability?
