DFID study of ALT Projet Radio
Funding secured from DFID in 2005 has enabled ALT to undertake a lengthy study of the impacts of its EC funded ‘Projet Radio’ on rural populations in the south of Madagascar.

Marek Mayer 1952 – 2005

Andrew Lees and Marek Meyer have been named among the top 100 green campaigners of all time. To help celebrate it's tenth anniversary, UK's Environment Agency invited a panel of experts to name the people who have done most to save the planet and list the 100 greatest eco-heroes of all time.

Edwina Mattinson has raised money for The Andrew Lees Trust in memory of Marek Mayer through a sponsored cycle 4.460 kilometres (2,770 miles) in 37 days from Lilongwe (in Malawi) to Cape Town passing through Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa.
